Torbreck’s 2012 and 2013 wines will also be tasted on the night.

Good stuff! I’d choose Leeuwin any day. Of course I’m biased having just had lunch at there last weekend (on the terrace on a bottler of a day)! Interesting that they don’t include their Chardonnay – the Art series chardy is arguably one of the world’s best and the prelude is quality at a value price point.

They are very good – did you also go to Vasse Felix? I was blown away by them when i visited 2 years ago.

Sure did – about 4 months ago. Vasse Felix is in my humble opinion the best restaurant in WA. In fact I would reckon it would be in the top 10 winery restaurants in Aus. Superb food and service and a terrace overlooking the vines and of course some excellent wines across all their brands.

First, I love the name!
Second, I do like Australian wine, very much.
I assume I also like Australia the country – never been but plan to make my there one day when I’m really into stupidly long flights.
And I’d definitely like to learn more about cellaring – we have one that’s criminally underused and I feel guilty about it occasionally. There’s an Austrilia section and everything!
