Getting into sensational wine in the hills of Barcelona!

wine wankers barcelona catalonia catalunya alta alella

Timmer from Catalunya Wine caught up with me for an interview at Alta Alella – Cava Privat where we indulged in an amazing breakfast hosted by the lovely Valerie and cooked up by the talented Luca from Pati la Morera. It really was a special morning!

A big thank you to the Catalan Tourist Board (Catalunya Experience) for setting up my visits and to Aicard and Mar for driving me around (it meant I could spit less).

  1. Excellent video! We didn’t spend much time in Catalunya when we lived in Spain, but we did drive all through the Pyrenees and saw lots of vineyards. There are a lot of wonderful Spanish wines.

  2. I visited Spain often when I still lived in Europe. The have excellent wines and excellent food. Small wineries fill up a few bottles and sell them to friends, families and neighbors only. Great wines, really good ones.
