@vinaceous is a relative newcomer to the Australian wine scene, having only been around for ten years, focusing on wine varieties that excel in specific regions. We love the eye-catching labels which are based on the actual billboards of the late 1800s. And of course the juice inside is pretty good too. Fabulous tropical fruit aromas bursting from the glass! Today is a day for #romance, so that means popping a cork. It's rare to have anything else but a screwcap on #Aussie #wine nowadays so cracking this one open is a novelty. I'm making a promise to drink a lot more Muscadet over the upcoming 12 months. It's such a fabulous food wine and so affordable. Look for wines that are 'sur lie' on the label. This means the wine has had some yeast lees contact, which generally the racy wine a little bit more flavour. Fantastic with seafood. This is a beautifully creamy and nutty #chardonnay by @_TarraWarra_ out of the #YarraValley! Tonight I ate my body weight in top-flight burgers and washed them down with a river full of different wines. Why? I wanted to find the ultimate burger wine. This @voyagerestate cab merlot and its juicy red fruit flavour is pretty much perfect. Best burger of the night between the six chefs battling it out went to #danhong of Ms Gs. One of my favourite wineries, @yangarraestate from McLaren Vale, gave me a sneak peak at their top wine, the 2013 Ironheart Shiraz (released next month). And it's a cracker, just as good as the 2012. If you love juicy rich warm climate Shiraz with a deft handling of oak, you're gonna love this. Pictured here is proud winemaker @Petefrase at the recent #qantas EpiQure wine tasting. I purchased a wine called “LE VIN DE MERDE” ‘Le pire… … cache le meilleur’ It happened to be a delightful wine, not only for the value.

Glad you got to try some Torrontés – there’s certainly way more to Argentina than just plain old Malbec. Patagonia also makes some interesting wines, if you get the chance to try them. Love the blog by the way!
