Taylors Wines Rugby Magnum

As you may have seen posted on our social media channels, Taylors Wines has created a limited edition magnum incorporating a rugby ball designed label to celebrate their partnership with the Qantas Wallabies.  Produced in partnership with Gilbert, this label resembles a rugby ball in both look and touch. The wine inside is crafted from Clare Valley Shiraz, harvested from the outstanding 2014 vintage.  The magnum is superbly presented in a unique gift box, with a hand-drawn pictorial element on the inside sleeve, depicting members of the team singing the Australian national anthem.  With only 500 produced, this magnum is extremely limited and is sure to become a much sought after collector’s item for enthusiasts of both great wine and rugby. These magnums are valued at $199 and Taylors Wines are running a competition where you can win yourself a bottle!

The Taylors Wines First XVI

To celebrate their partnership with the Qantas Wallabies Taylors Wines has also created a limited edition set of 15 bottles of wine, known as the First XVI (Fifteen). Each bottle is individually hand signed by the starting fifteen players of the first Bledisloe match held in Sydney on the 20th of August 2016.  The wine itself is also a partnership; between the rich elegance of Clare Valley Shiraz and the pepper and spice of McLaren Vale Shiraz from the 2015 vintage. As there are only five Taylors Wines First XVI sets produced, they are considered an extremely rare, money can’t buy collector’s item. Keep an eye out for these!
