It’s been almost a year since I posted the original “Wine… It pairs perfectly with Christmas” so after seeing loads of Christmas related wine and drinks images on our social media I thought I’d post a version for 2014. It’s a week out from the big day so it gives everyone a bit of time to absorb these images and to maybe get a smile or two out of them in the lead-up. Unfortunately many of these have circled the net so many times that unless the image is marked I am unable to credit the brilliant minds who came up with them. We here at The Wine Wankers hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and even if you don’t celebrate it we hope you have some great wine over the holidays.
I really need to get into wine cork crafts. I have TONS.

What a bunch of lovely Christmasy wine ideas. Love the lighted vineyards in Lalande-de Pomerol of Bordeaux region. I wish more producers would decorate their vines this way, Thanks for sharing. Cheers !!

Cheers Julien! I think that one came via yourself. Yes, it would be lovely to see more vineyards lit up like that but can you imagine the work involved (especially down here in the south)! Lucky it’s a “quieter” time of year in the vineyards of the north.

Great stuff!
I’ve indulged in a few cups of hot, mulled wine at the annual Christmas market here and am looking forward to opening a bottle or two of my girlfriend’s uncle’s wine over the holidays.
Seasons greetings to one and all from Moravian wine country! 🙂

As much as I love a bit of mulled wine it’s the wrong season down here. But it does go well with a big Christmas roast on a stinking hot day… 😉

BTW, this is a very fun Christmas post!
